How do I know if I need a repair or a full roof replacement?
It depends on the age of the roof, how widespread the damage is, and what is happening under the shingles. A small leak around a vent pipe boot can be a minor repair. We inspect the roof, explain what we find, and tell you whether repair or replacement is the right next step.
How long does a typical asphalt shingle roof last?
Standard asphalt shingles generally last 20 to 25 years, and architectural shingles 25 to 30 years or more. Ventilation and installation quality affect how long a roof lasts. Ohio weather, including wind and hail, can shorten that.
